The report focuses on unintentional injuries and emphasizes the need to prevent child injuries and increase awareness about safety standards in schools amongst the key stakeholders. 131 schools were part of the study and the study revealed that while various policies and legislations were in place, implementation was lagging. Additional research aims to identify pressing needs for implemented safety practices in and around schools, as well as address practical measures for implementation. This report consolidates data from various national and international sources, on-the-ground research results and insights, and recommendations on safety practices.
