The Electrochemical Safety Research Institute published a paper on March 31, 2023 in the Journal of Visualized Experiments, which focuses on the demonstration of experimental procedures and techniques. The paper presents the thermal abuse testing method of a single 18650 cell with real-time measurements of important parameters characterizing the thermal runaway process of a lithium-ion battery.
