Vasu Modekurti

Vasu Modekurti is senior vice president and chief information officer for UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement, overseeing the implementation and management of the organizations’ information technology (IT) infrastructure, systems, and team to enable their growth and high performance. An experienced, hands-on technology leader, Modekurti has led several digital transformation and modernization efforts across a wide range of industries.

Modekurti joined UL Research Institutes and UL Standards & Engagement after serving as executive director of enterprise architecture for Trustmark, where he built an outcome-oriented enterprise architecture organization from the ground up. He had previously worked in leadership roles at Baxter Healthcare’s Global Commercial Platform and Walgreens Co., managing IT teams to develop capabilities to increase their efficiency.

Modekurti holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology in India.
