Sally Creel

STEM and Innovation Supervisor at Cobb County School District in Georgia

Dr. Sally Creel is the STEM and Innovation Supervisor at Cobb County School District in Georgia. Dr. Creel also consults for state and national professional organizations and companies that provide educational curriculum resources.  Her area of primary focus is improving teacher efficacy related to the STEM/STEAM pipeline through supporting underrepresented populations and career awareness.

Dr. Creel has most recently contributed to the publication Navigating the challenges of elementary science teaching and learning: Using case-based pedagogy to understand dilemmas of practice published in 2023.  She was also a consulting author for the Smithsonian’s STEAM Readers series published in 2019 and STEM Position Statement for the National Science Teaching Association in 2018.  

Creel earned her Ed.D. in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Georgia Aquarium and Interactive Research Methods Lab at Kennesaw State University.
