James P. Dollive
Former Executive VP and CFO The Schwan Food Co.
James P. Dollive has been a Trustee of ULRI since 2008 and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee. He also serves as a Director at UL Solutions, where he is Chair of the Finance Committee. Additionally, he serves on the board of Dawn Foods, a privately held company, where he chairs the Audit Committee. He was previously a Director of Hartmarx prior to its sale.
Mr. Dollive worked for 30 years at Kraft Foods and its predecessor companies in a multitude of roles and geographies, including eight years as Kraft’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). While he spent most of his career in finance, he also had tours in sales (District Sales Manager) and marketing (Senior Product Manager).
Prior to becoming CFO, Mr. Dollive led Kraft’s Strategy Group, where he was responsible for strategic planning and M&A. Mr. Dollive has also worked internationally, including as Vice President, Finance for Kraft Canada and as Senior Vice President, Finance and Strategy for Kraft Europe. While CFO, he was engaged in several benchmark transactions, including Kraft’s initial public offering, Nabisco acquisition, and multiple financings.
Mr. Dollive retired from Kraft in 2008. Shortly thereafter, he was recruited by the Schwan Food Co. to help guide them through various challenges, remaining there for the next five years as their CFO.
Mr. Dollive holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, an M.S. in engineering systems from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in finance from The Wharton School.
