Isabelle Garcia
Research Librarian Manager, Library and Researcher Information Services
Isabelle Garcia is the head of Library and Researcher Information Services (LRIS) at UL Research Institutes, where she leads a team of librarians who provide expert research support, deliver tailored literature searches and ensure researchers have seamless access to the scholarly resources they need to advance their work. Her team also develops and maintains innovative content management tools that enhance discovery, collaboration, and organization of scientific information, empowering researchers across the institute to work more efficiently and strategically.
With previous leadership experience at Microsoft and Qualcomm, serving as Senior Operations Manager for the Microsoft Library and Manager of Library Services at the Qualcomm Library, along with previous roles in engineering program management, Isabelle brings a unique blend of information science expertise and program management experience to the field. Isabelle holds an M.S. in library and information science and a B.S. in applied learning and development, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
