Elena Zinchenko
Vice President and Chief Program Development Officer, UL Research Institutes
Elena Zinchenko, Ed.D., serves as vice president and chief program development officer for UL Research Institutes. She leads the development of strategic partnerships and external funding opportunities across academic, government, commercial and philanthropic sectors to advance ULRI’s mission of safety science research.
Before joining ULRI, Zinchenko served as assistant provost for research at the University of Chicago, where she led strategic research development initiatives and helped expand large-scale federally funded research programs. She also served as an adjunct associate professor at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, teaching MBA and executive education programs focused on leadership, innovation and collaboration.
Zinchenko earned a Doctor of Education degree from Harvard University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago, where she conducted research in brain imaging and cognitive development.
