Cindy Daniell
Founder and President, Technology for Mission Global Consulting Group
Dr. Cindy Daniell is the founder and president of Technology for Mission Global Consulting Group, based in Virginia.
Daniell has a track record of leadership focusing on complex research and development portfolios, with a technical portfolio that largely consists of artificial intelligence (AI) development and transition, computer vision, data analytics, surveillance, clean energy, and clean water systems. She has senior technical executive experience from private sector research at SRI International and HRL Laboratories as well as through government service at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the Department of Homeland Security, and, most recently, as the director of research at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
She is a board member for the Applied Research Laboratory for Intelligence and Security, the University of Maryland’s University-Affiliated Research Center, reporting to the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security. Daniell also serves as an advisory board member for the Digital Safety Research Institute of UL Research Institutes and for Enabled Intelligence Inc., an AI technology company,
Daniell earned her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology. She has four patents and has received two Distinguished Civilian Service Medals, one from DARPA in 2012 and one from NGA in 2023.
