Accordingly, in March, Underwriters Laboratories made the decision to stop all work in Russia and Belarus and not take on or pursue any new customer orders related to those countries.
The devastating toll of the war in Ukraine has created a humanitarian crisis, threatening the safety of millions of people. To this end, Underwriters Laboratories has increased volunteer time off for employees to support Ukrainian relief in their communities and has made a donation to the American Red Cross to support the direct operations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Ukrainian Red Cross and Polish Red Cross.
