Volta Foundation Battery Forum

Interested in attending?

As the battery industry accelerates toward faster charging, understanding what occurs at the cell level is increasingly important. UL Research Institutes’ Electrochemical Safety Research Institute will address this topic during the Volta Foundation Battery Forum on April 15 at 11:00 AM ET.

Vallabha Rao Rikka, Ph.D., lead research scientist on the Electrochemical Safety Research team, will present on “Hidden Failure Mechanisms in Fast Charging: What We Miss at the Cell Level,” examining overlooked processes that can influence safety, performance, and durability as charging speeds increase.

Volta Foundation’s Battery Forum is a global, online conference series where battery thought leaders including researchers, engineers, and decision‑makers share insights, discuss industry challenges, and engage with the broader battery community.
