ESRI’s Research Director for Novel Materials & New Energy Forms, Wan Si Tang, Ph.D, and Research Scientists Frederick Gray and Martin Trujillo will be speaking at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo on June 9-11.

Join the Electrochemical Safety Research Institute (ESRI) team members at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo on June 9-11 as they share insights on our research projects related to novel materials and new energy forms.  

Wan Si Tang, Ph.D, ESRI’s Research Director for Novel Materials & New Energy Forms, will speak on the topic, “Understanding the Safety of Energy Storage and Conversion Materials and Systems through R&D Collaborations” on June 9 at 3:30 p.m. CT and on “Borohydrides as Fast-ion Conductors for Solid-State Battery Electrolytes” on June 11 at 9 a.m. CT.  

Frederick Gray, ESRI research scientist, will present on, “The Impacts of Procedure in the FMEA of Lithium-Ion Batteries” on June 10 at 1:30 p.m. CT.  

Martin Trujillo, ESRI research scientist, will present a poster on, “Thermal Analysis of Micro-Cell Format Lithium-Ion Batteries: Building A Materials Safety Database” on June 10 at 4 p.m. CT.  

ESRI will also exhibit at booth #407 at the TechConnect conference.
