Sodium-Ion Battery Conference

In recent years, sodium-ion batteries have seen increased interest as an alternative to lithium-ion batteries. However, there have been limited studies that examine their performance and safety characteristics. The Sodium-ion Battery Conference aims to provide a comprehensive overview of sodium-ion battery development, gathering experts in the space to present their research findings.

Dr. Dhevathi R Rajagopalan Kannan, research scientist with the Electrochemical Safety Research Institute (ESRI), will present ESRI’s research on the characterization of the cycle life performance and safety aspects of commercial sodium-ion cells on Aug. 14 at 9:30 am CDT.
