At the inaugural Sodium Battery Summit (NaBS) hosted by Argonne National Laboratory, taking place Sept. 22-23, in Lemont, Illinois. UL Research Institutes’ Electrochemical Safety Research Institute will contribute research insights supporting the safe advancement of sodium-ion battery technologies.
As a featured speaker, Dhevathi Kannan, Ph.D., research scientist with the Electrochemical Safety Research team, will deliver a presentation titled “Characterizing the Safety of Sodium-ion Batteries” on Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 10:50 a.m. CST. The talk will explore ongoing efforts to understand the safety characteristics of commercial sodium-ion batteries through comprehensive testing and characterization.
