Maritime Battery Forum

Interested in attending?

UL Research Institutes’ Electrochemical Safety Research Institute will participate in a technical webinar hosted by the Maritime Battery Forum on April 29 at 9 a.m. CST (4 p.m. CET / 10 p.m. SGT).

Judy Jeevarajan, Ph.D., the Electrochemical Safety Research group’s vice president and executive director, and research scientist Dhevathi Kannan, Ph.D., will share findings from the performance and safety tests carried out at the single cell and small module levels, as well as gas and particulate emission characterization of single cell.

Register for the webinar – “Performance and Safety Studies of Sodium-ion Commercial and Custom Cells and Modules” – to learn more about emerging energy storage research shaping the future of the maritime industry.

The Maritime Battery Forum brings together a global community of battery enablers committed to promoting innovative and efficient energy storage technologies within the maritime industry. Through collaboration and knowledge sharing, its members support battery‑driven value creation and accelerate the transition toward sustainable maritime solutions.
