CES convenes the tech industry, giving a global audience access to major brands and startups, as well as the world’s most-influential leaders and industry advocates. The CES 2025 conference program highlighted advancements in digital health, generative AI, sustainability, gaming, vehicle tech, cybersecurity, future of money, space tech, and more.

The Electrochemical Safety Research Institute‘s (ESRI) Vice President and Executive Director, Dr. Judy Jeevarajan, spoke on the topic, “Rechargeable Batteries in Consumer Tech – A Path to Sustainability?” The discussion focused on avoiding thermal events in recycling and waste systems and the impact of new mandates on battery removability, producer responsibility and right to repair.
