We are excited to be among science educators and advocates at STAT CAST23 held from Nov. 9-11 in Houston, Texas.

Educators and science advocates gather annually for Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching (CAST), one of the nation's premier science education conferences. Presented by Science Teachers Association of Texas (STAT), this in-person, 3-day professional learning event features hundreds of sessions, a massive exhibit hall, and connections, all showcasing innovative classroom strategies and resources. This year, with the adoption and implementation of the new science TEKS approaching, attendees will benefit from sessions designed to help them navigate three-dimensional science teaching by leveraging the recurring themes and concepts and science and engineering practices into their daily instruction.

Our Xplorlabs pathways incorporate real world safety science to teach state standards, a great match for educators attending to learn about the advancement of science teaching. Come see us at booth 106 and learn more about these free resources and other Office of Research Experiences and Education offerings.
