The Electrochemical Safety Research Institute (ESRI) will participate in the 13th Annual Cambridge Enertech Battery Safety Summit on Nov. 6-7 in Tysons Corner, Virginia. This hybrid two-day event will bring together key experts from around the world to present the latest advancements in battery safety and cover a wide range of topics, including next-generation batteries, thermal runaway mitigation, and battery management system safety.

On Nov. 7, ESRI's Vice President and Executive Director Dr. Judy Jeevarajan will deliver the Chairperson’s Remarks for the Forensic Analysis session, along with a presentation on "Fire, Smoke, and Emissions Characteristics for Lithium-ion during Thermal Runaway" for the event’s Battery Management Systems and Charging Safety theme.
