School safety assessment in Bengaluru and Kolar districts, India

This peer-reviewed journal article details research at and around schools in Bengaluru and Kolar, India. The article assesses school safety across domains in order to prevent injuries and promote the safety of children. The research was conducted as part of the partnership between Underwriters Laboratories India and the National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS). Results from this research clearly highlighted the need for implementing and augmenting safety measures in schools across these two cities.
