Developing National Standards for Mexico

Underwriters Laboratories receives authorization as standards development organization in Mexico

Underwriters Laboratories is proud to be the 11th standards development organization (SDO) authorized to develop national standards for Mexico. UL Standards is grateful to Dirección General de Normas (DGN) for its partnership and support.

This authorization allows Underwriters Laboratories to elevate safety within Mexico as work continues with partners across North America to help harmonize standards and promulgate UL standards across the Latin American region. These activities align with UL's mission of working for a safer world.
